Wallport opened its doors in November of 2007 with three trucks, two office staff and one customer. Wallport’s vision and culture has remained the same since day one; to provide value added services through superior customer service, technology and education which will result in mutually beneficial long-term service partnerships.
Wallport’s success has allowed us the opportunity to attract some of the industry’s best and brightest. Since our humble beginnings Wallport has grown to a fleet of over 100 drivers and excess of 40 staff members throughout Texas.
Wallport has been at the forefront of the new wave of technology that is sweeping our industry. We provide customers with full visibility and information in real time. We continuously develop API’s (Application Programming Interface) with major ports and inland rail hubs. This has allowed us to effectively manage cargo flows and improve the efficiencies of our industries.
Wallport is very active in promoting the success of not only our company but our whole industry. We are involved in all aspects related to our industry from a local, state and federal level. We are members of the Texas Trucking Association and the American Trucking Association. We participate on the intermodal counsels in the markets which we serve and we promote staff participation in the Emerging Leaders’ Councils of both organizations.
